Store owner replied: Hi Connie, after reviewing the photo you provided, we can see that the tin is almost empty and there are about 10 cookies left in the tin, all of which appear to be intact. While there are some crumbs in the center, there are no visible crumbles on the left side of the tin. Given this, we had kindly requested a clear photo of the cookies upon opening the lid, before any were removed, to better assess their condition at the time of arrival. This helps us determine if there was indeed excessive damage beyond the expected natural crumbling due to the delicate nature of our cookies. Our Black Sesame Butter Cookies are crafted with 42-44% premium New Zealand butter and 10% black sesame seeds, giving them a rich, melt-in-the-mouth texture. Unlike mass-produced cookies with stabilizers, they are naturally delicate, which may lead to some crumbling during transit despite our careful packaging. We never intended to add to your frustration. Our request for additional photos was simply to ensure we had a full picture of the situation so we could assist appropriately. We regret if this came across as an inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your understanding.
